Session deets right this way

Session 1
Basketweave and waffle stitch
These two beautiful stitches are just a few of the many things that can happen if you play around with double crochet. Deceptively simple patterns resulting in a textured fabric that emulates a woven basket or a waffle - an impressive outcome with little effort. Enough waffling - let's get crochet!
Skills to learn:
-
double crochet (US)/ treble (UK)
-
front post and back post stitches
-
pattern repetition
Session 2
The daisy stitch steals the show
Wherever we go (me and Daisy), people turn their heads while I'm thinking: nothing to see here, it contains only single stitches.
Never estimate the power of the single crochet stitch - if you keep making them, you might end up with clusters of 5 single crochet stitches and the result is this stunning daisy (some call it star) stitch that can be used to decorate .. well... ANYTHING!

Skills to learn:
-
cluster stitch mastery
-
multiple yarn over and pull throughs

Session 3
Puff / Bobble stitch
All fluff and puff. I love them. These stitches open the door to crocheting hats, flowers and letters in any shape and form. You'll find out whether the puff stitch is really just a chubby version of the bobble or this stitch shape shaming is only a myth. And what does the popcorn stitch have to do with all these guys?

Skills to learn:
-
triple crochet (US)/ quadruple (UK)
-
multiple yarn over
-
reading a crochet graph
Session 4
Celtic knot square
Those who know me and my love of 3D origami models are certainly not surprised to learn that I'm a big fun of these Celtic squares - this is basically crochet origami! Look at those neatly folded double crochet lines! You cannot not fall in love with them!
Skills you will learn:
-
crochet weaving
